vinylic groups

The vinyl group ($\ce{CH2=CH\bond{–}}$) and derivatives formed by substitution. Informally, a group, such as $\ce{–OH}$, attached to the free valence of a (substituted) vinyl group is sometimes referred to as 'vinylic'.
