The ratio: \[f_{\rm{r}}=\frac{A_{\rm{r}}}{A_{\rm{g}}}\] where \(A_{\rm{r}}\) is the real (true, actual) surface (interface) area and \(A_{\rm{g}}\) is the geometric surface (interface) area.
