Photosubstitution in aromatic compounds with the participation of nucleophiles.
Note:
While electrophilic substitution is the most common reaction on aromatic compounds in the @G02704@, nucleophilic substitution is typical for the excited states of these compounds. Some electrophilic aromatic photosubstitutions (upon excitation of the aromatic substrate) have been reported.
