mean current density

https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.M03776
Defined as \[j=\frac{I}{A}\] where \(I\) is the @E01927@ and \(A\) is usually taken as the geometric area of the electrode. However the nature of the area used in this calculation must be clearly stated. In interpreting the mean @C01452@ it is important to know whether the current is uniformly distributed over the electrode @I03082@.
