ketyls

https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.K03389
Radical anions (or the corresponding salts) derived from ketones by addition of an electron $\ce{R2C^{.}–O^{−} <-> R2C^{−}–O^{.}}$.
Note: Ketyls produce two types of conjugate acids: $\ce{R2C^{.}–OH}$ and $\ce{R2CH–O^{.}}$. The former are α-hydroxyalkyl radicals and the latter are alkoxyl radicals, but they have also been called ketyls in photochemistry.
