A CW or pulsed source of @C01130@ in which the @A00106@ is usually a solution of a fluorescent organic molecule (the dye) pumped with a suitable pump @L03459@ or with a flash @L03447@. These lasers can be tuned over a large part of the @F02453@ band of the dye.
