Note: The total mobile phase time is related to the total mobile phase volume (in size-exclusion chromatography) (\(V_{\rm{t}}\)) and the flow rate (\(F_{\rm{c}}\)) by \(t_{\rm{t}} = V_{\rm{t}}/F_{\rm{c}}\) .
