Polymer composed of macromolecules containing thiocarboxylate (thioester) linkages in the backbone:\(\ce{-S-CO\bond{-}}\) or \(\ce{-O-CS\bond{-}}\) or \(\ce{-S-CS\bond{-}}\)
Note: A polymer containing only pendent thioester groups is excluded.
