Isolated shore regions of freshwater ponds separated from the main body of water by plastic dividers used for ecotoxicological testing. These test systems generally have a volume of \(\pu{1000 L}\) to \(\pu{5E4 L}\) and a maximum depth of \(\pu{2 m}\).
