modulated temperature technique (adj.)

in thermal analysis
initialism: MT
https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.12300
Applied to the technique name to indicate that a temperature modulation has been applied to the temperature program.
Note: The prefix TM is occasionally used instead, but not recommended.
Example: A DSC experiment carried out with a modulated temperature program would be modulated temperature differential scanning calorimetry (MT-DSC). Other modulated techniques are possible, such as modulated force TMA, modulated rate SCTA, etc.
