Test for catalepsy in which a mouse is placed on a bar oriented parallel to and approximately \(\pu{2.5 cm}\) off the ground. Typically, if the mouse remains immobile on the bar for more than 20 seconds, it is considered to be cataleptic.
Note: The test can also be used for evaluating motor coordination.
