symmetrical flow field-flow fractionation

Flow field-flow fractionation in which the speed of mobile phase is constant along the length of the channel due to constant channel width.

Notes:
  1. The width is constant except for triangular sections at each of the ends of the channel.
  2. Theory and data analysis are simplified by the assumption of constant flow.
