Measurement method of
surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) by which the Raman spectrum is significantly enhanced under the conditions that, whilst undergoing SERS, the molecules are excited by radiation that is in resonance with electronic transitions in the sample.
Notes: - Enhancements of up to and greater than \(\pu{E10}\) have been measured.
- The acronym SERRS is used for both surface-enhanced resonant Raman scattering and spectroscopy.
