Measurement principle of spectroscopy to measure the precession of magnetic moments placed in a magnetic induction based on absorption of electromagnetic radiation of a specific frequency by an atomic nucleus.
Notes:
  1. Nuclei having a suitable magnetic moment include \(\ce{^{1}H}\), \(\ce{^{13}C}\), \(\ce{^{15}N}\), \(\ce{^{19}F}\), \(\ce{^{31}P}\).
  2. The technique is used as a method of determining structure of organic molecules, or as a mechanism for quantification.
