thermally-induced transition

https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.T06306
A transition that is induced by a change in temperature. Example: RbNO3 undergoes three structural transitions below 573 K:
  1. trigonal → CsCl-type structure at 439 K,
  2. CsCl-type → hexagonal structure at 501 K, and
  3. hexagonal structure → NaCl-type structure at 551 K.
