spherical carbonaceous mesophase

A term which describes the @MT07285@ of @C00822@ which is formed in the @I03353@ @P04677@ matrix. The spherical @C00822@ usually has a lamellar structure consisting of flat aromatic molecules arranged in parallel layers which are perpendicular to the sphere/@I03353@ phase @I03082@. On coalescence, this spherical @M03849@ loses its characteristic @MT07285@ and is converted to the @B00754@.
