Graphical method for analyzing binding of a molecule \(\ce{A}\) to a macromolecule \(\ce{P}\) with \(n\) binding sites. A Hill plot of \(\log[\theta/(1 - \theta)]\) vs. \(\log[\ce{A}]\) has a slope of 1 if binding is noncooperative and \(\gt 1\) for cooperative binding, where \(\theta = [\ce{A}]_{\rm{bound}}/n[\ce{P}]_{\rm{total}}\) is the fraction of sites occupied.
