heat of polymerisation

symbol: $Q$; unit: $\pu{J}$
https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.15403
Heat absorbed or given off from the conversion of a specified amount of monomer into polymer.
Notes:
  1. The molar heat of polymerization is denoted by the symbol \(Q_{\rm{m}}\) and is the heat of polymerization of one mole of monomer. SI unit: \(\pu{J mol-1}\).
  2. The molar heat of polymerization is equal to the enthalpy of polymerization under isobaric and isothermal conditions.
