Polymer composed of macromolecules containing 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyltrioxy constitutional units (formerly cyanurate groups) in the backbone:

Notes:
  1. Cyanurate is not an IUPAC approved name for 1,3,5-triazinetris(olate).
  2. Polycyanurates are isomeric with polyisocyanurates.
  3. Polycyanurates can be regarded as a subclass of polytriazines.
