Polymer composed of macromolecules containing exclusively alkene-α,ω-diyl (formerly alkenylene) constitutional repeating units: \[\ce{-[-CH=CH-[CH2]_{m}\bond{-}]_{n}\bond{-}}\]
Notes:
  1. Polyalkenylenes are sometimes referred to as polyalkenamers; use of this term is discouraged.
  2. Polyvinylenes (\(m = 0\)) are excluded.
