Controlled reversible-deactivation radical polymerization in which the deactivation of the radicals involves degenerative transfer (DT) of a group (or atom).
Examples: Those mentioned below under reversible-addition-fragmentation chain-transfer polymerisation, iodine (iodine transfer polymerisation, ITP) and certain derivatives of \(\ce{Te}\), \(\ce{As}\), \(\ce{Sb}\), or \(\ce{Bi}\).
