reversible chain deactivation

https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.14411
Deactivation of a chain carrier in a chain polymerisation, reversibly converting the active center into an inactive one and then, within the lifetime of a growing macromolecule, regenerating an active center on the same original chain carrier.
