      <text>Vaccine prepared from living attenuated organisms or from viruses that have been attenuated but can still replicate in the cells of the host organism.</text>
      <notes>
        <item>The live attenuated vaccine contains a version of living bacteria or viruses that have been weakened (attenuated) so they can no longer cause disease. Since they are very close to the actual infection, they can cause strong cell and antibody responses.</item>
