co-nonsolvency

https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.12236
Decrease in solubility of a polymer in a solvent comprising more than one component, each component of which by itself is a solvent for the polymer.
Note: Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) in water/methanol and poly(vinyl alcohol) in dimethylsulfoxide/water are examples of systems in which co-nonsolvency occurs.
