Changes in response to progesterone that include the eosinophilic proliferation around arterioles after ovulation or progesterone action on endometrium.

Note: Decidualization increases glandularepithelial secretion, stimulates glycogen accumulation in stromal cell cytoplasm, and promotes stromal vascularity (spiral arterioles) and edema.
