Notes: - Typical inorganic oxide adsorbents include silica gel, alumina, magnesium silicate (Florisil), and zirconia.
- Compounds with hydrogen-bonding or ionic functional groups are extracted efficiently, while neutral dipolar compounds are extracted to a lesser extent and weakly polarizable compounds to a limited extent.
