Extraction of analyte(s) from an aqueous solution by fine droplets of extraction phase dispersed throughout the solution.

Notes:
  1. The extraction phase is formed by a mixture of extraction and dispersion solvents injected into the sample solution.
  2. The extraction phase can be formed by ion exchange when an ionic liquid is used as the extraction solvent.
  3. The extraction phase is sedimented by centrifugation and collected for analysis.
