Peak width at
\(\pu{50\%}\) of the peak height that terminates at the intersections with the peak.
Notes: - The peak width at half height must never be called the "half width" because that has a completely different meaning.
- The peak width at half height of a Gaussian peak is about 2.355 times the standard deviation of the modelled Gaussian. See figure in peak height.
