Notes:
  1. Glycan microarrays are used for the characterization of lectins and other glycan-binding proteins via specific interactions with labelled glycan-binding proteins.
  2. Specific lectin–glycan interactions are also used for the characterization of glycans in the opposite set-up (see lectin microarray, glycan profiling).
