areic dose rate

symbol: $G$
https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.09222
Areic dose introduced into a solid in time interval \(t\) divided by \(t\).
Note: For a stationary parallel beam, the areic dose rate equals the flux times \(\cos\ \theta\), where \(\theta\) is the angle of incidence of the beam.
