Note: \(\ce{Ag}\) electrodes were first used in
potentiometry for the determination of
\(\ce{Cl-}\),
\(\ce{Br-}\),
\(\ce{I-}\), as well as for
\(\ce{Ag+}\) ions, to which they are sensitive.
