Time period between calibrations over which the performance of the measuring system may be expected to meet specified requirements.
Notes:
  1. Guidelines for the determination of calibration intervals of measuring systems are given in ILAC-G24.
  2. ISO 14532 refers to a period "between routine calibrations".
